Spend an evening inland in Ubud, Bali's artistic heart. There's time to browse around the art galleries and craft shops and have dinner at one of the restaurants before watching one of the cultural performances listed on this page (dinner is not included). Legong Dance: a selection of 5 or 6 short dances, usually including the dramatic Baris warrior dance. (Ubud & Peliatan dance troupes are particularly renowned for these dances). Ramayana Ballet: a classical dance reenacting part of the Indian Ramayana epic. Performances every Tuesday. Wayang Kulit: Shadow Puppet Show at Oka Kartini's.
