The UMNO Museum in Melaka
Like the African National Congress in South Africa, the United Malays National Organization (UMNO) was a movement before it transformed into a political party once independence was achieved. Since the organization was founded in Melaka, it seemed only natural to have a museum devoted to it in the city.
The UMNO Museum is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, except for Friday afternoon, when it is closed from 12:45 to 2:45 pm for prayers. Admission is RM 1.00 (0.20 USD). See the St Paul's Hill page for location information.
