The LimeTree Hotel seems to aspire to be a boutique hotel. Frankly, it falls a bit short of the mark for a truly boutique experience, but it's still a good value for money accommodation. The location is a bit east of the main waterfront hotel area, but it is right in the middle of the Padungan Road restaurant area, with a lot of good eateries a short walk away.

The hotel has 50 rooms on four floors. My 'deluxe' room was really just barely big enough to hold the bed. It was comfortable enough for one, but two people would probably be tripping over each other. The room had most of the basic modern conveniences, like air conditioning and a flat screen television, but didn't have a mini-bar of any kind. Most curiously, the room did not have a safe, which is very unusual these days.

Breakfast was served in the lobby coffee shop. There was a small selection of Asian and Western items. Nothing fancy, but reasonably good quality. There is also a fifth floor 'roof top' lounge serving drinks, with a large open-air area. To be honest, the view isn't very good, but the lounge can be a good place to catch the sunset. Additional facilities include a small souvenir shop in the lobby, as well as a tour desk. There were also a couple of computers in the lobby to use the Internet, and there was free wi-fi throughout the hotel.
Hotel facilities include a restaurant, lounge, souvenir shop and tour desk.
Rooms feature air conditioning, hot and cold water, color television (limited channels), IDD telephones and free wireless Internet access.
Pluses: Inexpensive. Near several good restaurants and pubs.
Minuses: Rooms are small. Note: some rooms have no windows. Avoid booking the standard rooms.
