Historical Weather Patterns for Vientiane
From November to March, the nights can be quite cool while the days are pleasantly warm.
As in the other monsoon countries of Southeast Asia, the rainy season is not necessarily a bad time to visit. It does not rain all day long, as many might think. The rain usually comes in drenching late afternoon downpours. If you time your day accordingly, you can definitely enjoy your visit and have many sights to yourself.
