Asia for Visitors is a site devoted to bringing you a comprehensive and easy to use guide to traveling to and in Thailand. The site features articles of useful information and suggestions about what to see as well as links to other web sites that we've found can be the most useful for visitors to Southeast Asia. Asia for Visitors' author is Michael Holland, who has lived and worked in Thailand for more than 17 years. The site is part of a group of related sites about travel around Southeast Asia.

Suggestions

We welcome suggestions for web sites that you think should be included as one of our resources. Just use our handy suggestion form. Please note that each suggestion will be evaluated for its usefulness and will only be listed if, in the view the author, the site is appropriate to our audience.

This site is the result of my own travels, which by and large aren't that much different from your travels, at least in the way I plan them. I make my own hotel reservations using the same booking sites listed here, reserve my own flights, and make my way to the sights of each destination on my own, just as you would do. Unless specifically noted otherwise in the content, I have accepted no compensation in any form (no free stays, no subsidized rates, etc.

Privacy

Asia for Visitors does not collect or store any personal information about you. Like all web sites, our server stores logs of some information about each page that is delivered. That information includes IP (internet protocol) addresses, browser type, referring and exit pages, time of visit, and operating system. We use this information to analyse the site by tracking user movements within the site to identify trends and demographics. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.
