Dr Sun Yat Sen's Penang Base

From 1909 to 1911, this indigo blue shophouse was the base of Dr. Sun Yat Sen, the leader of the Chinese revolution against the Manchu government. The Straits Chinese of the time supported the movement and Dr. Sun Yat Sen.
The house is still in private hands and reportedly has its original interior of carved wooden screens and courtyards.
